Drill Masters-Eldorado Tool's Single Flute Gundrills are available in diameters from .039" (1.00 mm) to 3.000" (76.20 mm). Included in this range are over 800 sizes and lengths available for same-day delivery. We also offer an expedited service for non-stock gundrills to satisfy your urgent requests. As part of our Quality Assurance Program, our carbide and steel tubing are subjected to complete metallurgical analysis prior to manufacturing the final product. In addition to the single flute design, we offer two flute, solid carbide tip and shank, Opti-Flo ( kidney oil hole), and Opti-Flo II (two oil hole) gundrills.
Oil Hole Configurations play a big part in the gundrill selection process. Coolant systems that lack adequate pressure or volume would benefit from the single oil hole. The single orifice allows more PSI with less volume. Systems with ideal PSI and GPM should run either Kidney (.3125" and under) or Dual (.3126" and up) oil holes for greater chip evacuation and more coolant to the cutting edge.
